Yes, the game is kind of hard but it is not too hard that it removes the fun aspect of the game. I did mention “limited yet rewarding gameplay”, right? So, what do I mean by that? What I mean is that the game has difficulty, even just at normal mode, with the addition of the limited controls making it a hard game. ![]() You also get abilities mid-game that will help you progress throughout the game! The visuals and 2D platforming scream '80s NES, but the detail. Chris Shive from Hardcore Gamer gave the game a 4 out of 5 score saying, 'Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight is the ideal mix of old and new. There is the button for ranged attack, melee attack, roll, and jump.
